DMK allots 7 seats to Kongunadu Munnetra Kazhagam
The KMK's reaction comes in the wake of resentment in other outfits of the Gounder community against the party's decision to align with the DMK.
“When we highlighted the need to solve the dyeing effluent discharge problem in a holistic manner in our last Parliament election manifesto, no one listened to us and subsequently, the entire apparel industry fell into the present predicament,” KMK State treasurer K. Balasubramanian told The Hindu.
He hinted that the party would contest over Tirupur, Coimbatore, Erode, Dindigul, Karur, Dharamapuri, Krishagiri and Salem districts, where the KMK had a strong hold.
