DMK allotted 31 seats

Ramadoss pledges unconditional support for dravida munnetra kazhagam

Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) leader S. Ramadoss on Monday said his party would offer unconditional support to the DMK and act as its protective shield.
Speaking at a family wedding, Dr. Ramadoss profusely praised the one rupee per kg rice scheme of the DMK government, saying that it had ensured food supply for everyone in the State.

Stating that he always wanted Mr. Karunanidhi to launch his projects, whether he was Chief Minister or not, Dr. Ramadoss said the Chief Minister released the first copy of Tamil Osai, the official newspaper of the PMK, and inaugurated Makkal TV, its satellite channel.

He referred to the marriage as a prelude to the victory celebrations of the alliance.

The PMK has been allotted 31 seats in the DMK-led combine, while a deal with the Congress has so far proved elusive.
